Martine Strohmeyer
Martine Strohmeyer, MFA is an award winning working and teaching artist. She is a former Instructor for the Governor's School for the Arts of Virginia and the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia. Martine regularly teaches and exhibits her work in Universities, Art Centers and Museums throughout the Eastern United States. She is a popular visiting artist and she has judged and /or curated over 100 exhibitions. In 2004, the National Foundation of the Arts recognized her as a Distinguished Teacher in the Arts for Advancement in the Arts in Washington, D.C. As the recipient of many grants and fellowships, she travels the world as a student and an art instructor. Her artwork is in many private and public art collections.

Rita Marlier
Rita Marlier has exhibited her figure sculpture extensively in Hampton Roads for the last 35 years. She has an MFA in Sculpture from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh where she taught at Carlow College before coming to Norfolk. Locally she taught figure drawing and figure sculpture at the Norfolk Museum Art School and later at Old Dominion University from 1980 to 1995.
